A Simple Plan,

Praying4America is based on a simple plan: 30 days of focused intercession for every key area of American life. The guide for this 30-day journey is a unique resource, The Prayer Map of America. Participants in each church will use the Map for a few minutes every day, praying for that day’s specific requests. By the end of the 30 days, they will have prayed across America. And, in the process, their own lives will be enriched, the church will be energized, and communities throughout the nation will be spiritually stirred.

A Total Package

The Praying4America Leader’s Guide provides a detailed, step-by-step strategy. The guide includes a planning calendar, pastoral letters, sermon outlines, and other elements to enliven the church’s 30-day prayer journey. Also available are bulletin inserts, prayer commitment cards, banner graphics and PowerPoint slides. And, of course, the key resource—The Prayer Map of America. The total package is designed to ensure total effectiveness.

A Seamless Design

Praying4America is unique because it doesn’t interfere with other church activities. In fact, it complements all other activities as it deepens the devotional life of the church. And you can choose the dates you prefer for your church’s specific 30-day season of prayer. Many congregations across America are designating their 30 days of prayer to maximize the summer. Others are starting in September, and many are choosing to begin in October and conclude just before Election Day. The decision is up to each church.

A Low Cost, A Big Impact

It costs very little to implement the Praying4America strategy. The primary expense is the cost of Prayer Maps for each church member. And since the Maps are deeply discounted, that cost is reduced significantly. Participating churches receive the Leader’s Guide at no additional cost. All other program materials are also available free of charge.
